The kitchen knives include an 8-inch workhorse chef's knife; 8-inch carving knife for slicing tasks; 5-inch boning knife for meats, poultry, and fish; 5-inch utility knife; and 3-inch paring knife for peeling and cleaning vegetables and fruits. The steak knives have 4-1/2-inch blades and fit into the lower face of the two-level block.
